Any tips on how to overcome insomnia?!


Question: Any tips on how to overcome insomnia?
So, I used to smoke pot on a daily basis. Due to my job, I had to quit last week. Ever since I quit, I CANNOT sleep!! Does anyone have any tips on how to overcome insomnia? Especially if you have had the same situation when quitting smoking.

The insomnia is such a bit*h ! It is the hardest part for me whenever i'm coming off a cannabis addiction.

I did as much exercise as i could, be it walking the dog or weight lifting, i'd fit as much in as i could.
The same routine before going to sleep also helps
Relaxing before you go to sleep helps, i would have a bath then read a bit.
I'd make my room really cold before i'd go to sleep, i dont know why but it helps me sleep better when im cold rather than hot.

The good thing is after a month the withdrawal effects should be gone.
