Question: Have you ever had someone come up to you and their breath almost knocked you over? What did you do?

I usually have gum or a mint on me and when I meet someone with this problem I pull the gum or mints out, pop a piece in my mouth and offer them one. Most of the time they know why I am doing so and appreciate my not making a sour face or saying something rude. No mints or gum...simply interrupt and excuse yourself asap.
My ex-husband used to have bad breath quite frequently.....I would ask him if he brushed his teeth & he used to get very upset w/ me......but it was really grody......I would wait a bit then offer him some gum.....still got into trouble w/ that one too.
Luckily, no, no situation like you described. A woman wearing too much cheap perfume that you could smell her miles away (exaggerating here) before seeing her, yes. Talk about a wretched odor.
