Unless you have been diagnosed with a specific anxiety disorder you may want to consider the following:
1. Breathing exercises can be very helpful. When feeling anxious about something, try taking several deep breaths. Breath out slowly.
2. Examine your lifestyle. Are you drinking a lot of coffee? Some people can handle more coffee than others. Are you getting enough sleep? What is the quality of your sleep?
3. Examine what is triggering the stress. Are you getting stressed out about a situation because you're writing a script? In other words have you decided that something is going to happen when you have no basis for thinking such thoughts. For example, persons on their way to a job interview. They begin getting stressed out because they convince themselves that there is no way they will get the job. They come up with all sorts of "what ifs". This is script writing.
4. Examine your time management skills. Are you setting enough time to get things done? Are your goals realistic?
5. Consider relaxation therapies. A soak in the tub using lavender salts and soft music can do wonders to de-stress and keep us balanced.
