What are the effects of heroin on the human body of an average teen girl?!

Question: What are the effects of heroin on the human body of an average teen girl?
I have a 15 year friend, and she's dont many drugs and so forth...
she's like emo or something because she like smashes glass and put it in her mouth for pleasure and cuts herself and whole bunch of crazy stuff..
anyways we were talking the other day and she told me she did heroin and smoked cigarettes and drank alcohol and so on... >.> thing is i don't do drugs and i'm like normal and don't do the crazy crap she does... and i like her.. so i'm like worried for her...
What are the effects of heroin on her brain? Will it make her stupid? Slower? What?
On her, will it destroy her physically?
how can i help her? :\ i don't want her to end up as a homeless crack head...
Thanks Again!
and sorry for grammatical errors or not making so much sense... it's hot over here and i can't think straight.. :p

Effects

The effects of heroin include significant pain relief, but as the dose is increased, euphoria is produced. Even at doses where there is strong euphoria, coordination and intellect are only mildly affected. Many people can function fairly "normally" while on heroin, it is the withdrawal of the regular user that can kill them.

At very high doses of heroin, sedation, respiratory depression and coma may occur. People taking opioids with painful medical conditions describe knowing that the pain is present, but not caring. Unfortunately, tolerance quickly develops with heroin, with more and more required just to feel normal. Addiction potential is so high some users become criminals or prostitutes to support their habit. There are synthetic types of opioid medications, like Oxycodone, Vicodin and Norco-- medicines that are used for acute pain. These can become addictive when not used with care. You may become physically addicted, not psychologically. These drugs need to be weaned off of to avoid seizure. Talk to your healthcare provider if you have been taking these for recreational use (which is not legal, by the way).

BTW she needs help...

You have a really long question so Im answering your title question.
When I did it (16 male) I snorted a line of it.
I started vacuuming the floor. Then my vision got all fuzzy, and my body felt like jello and everything had a specific touch to it and my body had a very nice buzz, I couldn't concentrate on anything and I couldn't stand and collapsed on the floor. Threw up ALLLLLLL day long, and was super sick the next day but couldn't throw up. Couldn't even walk for 3 days after.

Edit: Do not listen to what people have to tell you if they have never tried it. They obviously dont know what it feels like.
I tried it once. I will never do it again.
