Could be several things. Sometimes an infection (may be the onset of a cold that you aren't aware of yet) or it could be something nutritional. Sometimes what we eat affects colour etc of our bodily functions and performance etc. But I am sure it's nothing to worry about. We've all had that. If you google 'yellow snot' you'll find lots health websites will tell you the answers.
That's probably because of the cold. I wouldn't worry. It's never even occurred to me to see what color my snot is like, lol! As you can see, I am absolutely fine! Don't fret.
