How can I tell if my bones have fused and I won't grow anymore?!

Question: How can I tell if my bones have fused and I won't grow anymore?
Without an xray.

Answers:

If you are under 18 you will probably keep growing until 18 as most males stop growing at 18 as that is usually when their growth plates fuse or close.

Without an X-ray there is no way of telling whether your growth plates have closed or fused.

If you're as tall as your parents or a sibling, it's probably safe to say you won't grow anymore.

If you're still shorter than your parents, especially if you're a boy, you will most likely grow.

There's not really any way except with an x-ray. But, you can guess. I ended up being as tall as my mom. If you're already taller than your mom, you're possibly going to be as tall as your dad.

I just got a bone age scan. You should, too. All you do is stick your hand under a monitor for 30 seconds & you're done.
