Does vicodin + alcohol = rectal bleeding?!

Question: Does vicodin + alcohol = rectal bleeding?
I was in a bad car accident two weeks ago and got whiplash as well as a hairline fracture to my sternum, my car was rear ended twice.
My doctor prescribed me Naproxen first for the pain and when it did not get better, prescribed Vicodin. Because I work during the day I usually only take the vicodin before bed or on weekends when I don't have to be anywhere.
This weekend I was with friends and had taken vicodin and had a few drinks as well as a few red bulls so I could stay awake with them. The follow day I had a great deal of rectal bleeding and saw my doctor. She told me to stop taking all of the painkillers until the bleeding stops and told me to use Preparation H.
I did not mention to my doctor that I had been drinking alcohol over the weekend b/c I know you aren't supposed to while on the pain killers. Could this have contributed to the rectal bleeding?

Answers:

yes and no. There is an underlying problem but the alcohol probably made you bleed more than you would have otherwise if you hadn't take them.

The phrase "rectal bleeding" has never been used in a serious question.

We're supposed to make a joke here about anal sex while you were unconscious. It isn't going to happen from me.
