no that is not normal, you need to increase fluid intake regularly and adjust your diet you should be having bowl movements daily on average if not you can have what is called a fecal impaction that can cause problems and require hospitalization. You should use a stool softener get enough fluids and fiber in your diet. If you have adequate fluid intake you may want to consult a physician you could have some sort of obstructive problem related to the gallbladder or pancreas.

I don't know about normal, but it's pretty common. I would suggest you start taking a good amount of acidolphlus and eating either a lot of fiber from your food or take a fiber supplement everyday and see if that alleviates your symptoms and discomfort. And, most importantly drink plenty of water.
well, im a dude...so I dont know what period cramps feel like....But i know what the poo pains are...I use to get them reall bad when I was in middle school (about 12 years ago). They hurt really bad, but when you poo it out its much better. I have had them a little now that I am older but not much, maybe 20 times a year?. Its usually a diet issue. If it continues more than one or 2 days I would see a doc. I have not had it last longer than that. I DO KNOW IT CAN HURT THOUGH LOL!
