Please help if you are in college!!! What is my best option here?!?!?!

Question: Please help if you are in college!!! What is my best option here?!?!?
This might be slightly long, but please take a minute to help out... I am just about to lose my mind here. ;__;

Ok, here's the situation:

I wanted to sign up for a class called Intro. to Research(psychology class) but all the spots are taken(15 out of 15) and there are 16 PEOPLE on the waiting list! There are two other research classes, but I really, REALLY, wanted to be in this one because my absolute favorite professor in the world teaches it. She is /amazing/... I refuse to take the class with anyone else. o_o I REFUSE!

So I was wondering- what is the best thing for me to do?:

1. Go to her during office hours and ask if there's any way I can be in her class

2. Ask her if she will drop one of her 'intro. to psych'. classes and hold an extra intro. to research class... ?

She teaches 2 intro to psych classes, and neither of them have filled up. In fact, I think almost no one has signed up for those. A lot of other professors teach intro. to psych... Why can't she just drop one of those and teach another research class!! Would it be wrong of me to ask her to do that?

Answers:

Professors don't pick their classes, they are given to them by the department. So she probably could not drop an intro class to add another research class. They also have to get permission to do the research classes. Your best bet would be to talk to the professor and the dean of your college (liberal arts i'm sure) because you have to be let into an overbooked class.

took research classes in college, and my best friend is a professor

I think you should do the first one. The second one makes you sound extremely selfish. Professors lose money when they drop a class, and you are cheating other students out of a class. Your professor with think less of you if you ask her to drop her other class.

ITS AMAZINGI found it at http://y101.info/50251/class-2
