Are the anal bleaching kits actually safe?!

Question: Are the anal bleaching kits actually safe?
My roommate ordered an anal / vaginal skin bleaching kit from ebay. She says it's a safe way to lighten the skin but I'm not so sure.

Are these skin bleaching products safe to use?

Answers:

In a general sense, no.

These products have several variations and often you do not know what ingredients are in them.

The ingredient in many, hydroquinone, is a known carcinogenic (cancer causing) compound and definitely would be unsafe. Bleach is a known skin irritant, while formulated in such a way to not cause significant irritation (generally) in most of these products it certainly isn't medically advisable.

There is not a hyper or hypo pigmentation product on the market today that I could medically recommend as 'safe'.

This is of course for cosmetic reasons, I don't see it as a worthy risk. Though it is all relative, .. many people smoke packs a day with the known risks and worse.
