Question: Long term affects of weed? im not looking for lies i want the truth only comment if you know?
OK so im overly stressed, and have bad joints and i smoke sometimes and idk like the long term affects i still plays 3sports year round and im starting varsity on all so thats not a issue and my grades have gotten better sense i started being not stressed and in pain. is there anything HUGE to worry about. ?

Answers:

Absolutely nothing. Pot is completely harmless. The only thing to worry about is the smoke inhalation. Which is still NOTHING compared to cigarette smoke.

Long term memory can be affected pretty significantly. Sleep can also be affected - it makes some people really sleepy & lazy, and it keeps some people up all night; it also affects one's sense of time sometimes -- 5 minutes could seem like 30 minutes -- so It could affect punctuality with regard to work or school. It's debatable whether it's safe to drive high or not, independent studies have proven both that it's "safe", and that it's "not safe", so who knows.(regardless, it's illegal). Sperm count in men can be lowered significantly. Of course, there's the issue of smoking, which in itself is dangerous.

As far as "HUGE" stuff goes, not really. You could always get a bad batch that has bad stuff in it, intended to make it heavier or more potent or even purposely dangerous. Although uncommon, you do have to be vigilant about that because you never know.

Smoking marijuana regularly (a joint a day) can damage the cells in the bronchial passages which protect the body against inhaled microorganisms & decrease the ability of the immune cells in the lungs to fight off fungi, bacteria, and tumor cells. Which will result in a already weakened immune systems, this means an increase in the possibility of dangerous pulmonary infections, including pneumonia, which often proves fatal in AIDS patients.

Also illnesses such as chronic bronchitis, impairment in the function of the smaller air passages, inflammation of the lung, the development of potentially precancerous abnormalities in the bronchial lining and lungs, and, as discussed, a reduction in the capabilities of many defensive mechanisms within the lungs are caused by it.

Not only medical illnesses but mental illnesses like flashbacks, delusions, depersonalization, hallucinations, paranoia, depression, and uncontrollable aggressiveness, trigger attacks of mental illness, such as bipolar (manic-depressive) psychosis and schizophrenia.

You should stop because you can really risk it all and lose everything.
