Are warts contagious?!

Question: Are warts contagious?
Over a period of twenty some odd years I have had warts on various parts of my body, neck arms, chest, feet and legs. My doctor has frozen them off me several times but they always reappear on another part of my body.

Answers:

Yes and here's an article about warts.

Warts aren't even real.... no kidding. Nobody has the slightest idea why they show up and what makes them go away. Magic works just as well as modern medicine in getting them off you. In fact in the old Merck Manual it said that a doctor could try "touching a child's warts with important-looking instruments - and then telling the child that it would cure the warts". Often that works....

They're very odd things. I doubt whether they're contagious - they're just some screwy thing your body wants to have fun with.

I "cured" one by cutting it off until I got blood at the base - then loading that bloody area up with baking soda and covering it with a band-aid. My theory was that the salt would pull the water out of that area for a couple days and foul up the wart.... and it worked.... Whether it would work on you, who knows.

Not really no. Genital warts and std is, of course.
Can't believe he hasn't told or tested you as to why. I know whenever I burn my skin.. even a little bit in the sun, I get lots of brown beauty spots.. aka flat moles, but apart from the Sun, I'm not sure what causes them.

My mum had hers removed and it never came back and she never got more. I'd ask your Doctor for a reason, warts can become cancerous.. that's why I'd be keen to know if it was me.
