How can be healthy???? please heelp?!

Question: How can be healthy???? please heelp?
The thing is, I'm addicted to coffee AND tea. And I'm lactose intolerant, and I don't eat fish or meat. Only chicken which is rarely. And I have anemia.

I don't eat a lot, like 2 slices of bread and olive cream cheese and ice cream is all I've had today. And that was for breakfast. My stomach hurts whenever i drink anything with lactose.

I'm ALWAYS tired and I can't seem to sleep. I went to sleep at 2,30 AM and woke up at 8.15 am just because I was hungry & was like craving tea.

I'm not in bad shape, but how can I be healthy???

Answers:

Get either a really good (quality) multi-vitamin for women. I use Vitaforce. I'm a vegetarian and have anemia. Milk sometimes makes me bloat, but only sometimes. So I drink a small amount of milk every day.

An iron supplement and calcium supplement is important to take since you're lactose intolerant and don't consume much iron rich foods (like meat).

Eat something two hours before bed and you will most likely not wake up hungry.

Taking up exercise might help also and it's beneficial to a healthy body, heart and lungs.

Hope I helped:)

Try to keep an optimistic outlook (think positive). It makes everything you do easier, including getting healthy. Think about what you can do that would make you happier. (Contrary to popular belief, happiness doesn't just happen--You have to work at it.)

Don't eat if you're not hungry, and stop when you are full--don't simply eat just because there is food around. Pay attention to your body, so you recognize when you're actually hungry, and when you're full. And eat slowly--it can take your body a few minutes to register fullness.

Try to eat at least five servings of fruit and/or vegetables a day, and whole grains instead of processed ones.

Eat foods that are high in fiber, like potatoes, beans, corn, asparagus, etc.

Eat dinner at least 2-3 hours before you go to bed, and eat nothing after it. When you eat dinner that is too close to your bed time, it does not give your body enough time to digest its food, (the body slows down when asleep) so all of that food is sitting in your body over night, and turns into fat.

Never skip breakfast. If you do not have the time to get something to eat in the morning, set it out ahead of time the night before. Leave something on your counter or a small table by your door, like fruit, a breakfast bar, bagel, or something out for quick and easy grabbing.

Need for sleep varies a lot for individuals, so figure out what your own requirements are. They may also vary with circumstances (more for nights after heavy exercise, for example).

You should get at least 3 hours of exercise a week, spread out over at least three days per week.

If you ordinarily have coffee first thing in the morning, try a glass or two of water instead. Surprisingly, you get much of the same effect as a cup of joe, with less caffeine, less expense, and less hassle.

Miranda, remember eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a price, and dinner like a pauper (poor dude). i recommend you stop drinking Coffee and tea for a while, since your only 13 and Coffee and tea contain proportions of caffeine. this is the same as drinking a small amount of alcohol which also contains caffeine. in your report about quitting smoking you said being addicted like drinking. the same thing is happening here where your addicted Coffee and tea. just drink it but not much. your life span is also lowered. eat more of varied varieties of food. so have cereal for one morning, then toast for the next and whatever you eat. eat a lot for breakfast. people will tell you that eating too much food for breakfast is not good since you will feel drowsy but drinking coffee and tea every morning is worse. and it is not true that you get drowsy from eating a lot! try to go to bed early and wake up at what time you want and time out your timetable for the day. in your report on smoking you included (mastur***ing). if you do do that i recommend you dont do it cause it will make you tired according to reasearch shown by scientists. so do it occasionally but don't do it as often.i neverdo it because then i will be tired. evrytime you eat luch try to have a variety of foods inmeat and vegetation.

I don't think Ur gonna get away with that for long--U need to eat better. Try eating eggs and fruit a lot. Almost any vegetable or fruit. You have to have a good source of protein, and you need iron. You should see a dietician or doctor or something.

I was feeling lousy, so went on Walgreen's multivitamins with iron. They are the first multi I ever took that I could actually feel working. I'm taking extra D and folic acid as well.

If you keep eating nothing, some day you're just going to pass out.

When I was going through a decreased appetite "syndrome" I went to Subway and got my favorite $5.00 footlong with LOTS of spinach, green pepper, some lettuce, hot green pepper. I would make two meals out of that, and always had a fruit or extra veggies and milk with it. You could do juice or drink soy milk. I eventually got my appetite back for 3 small meals a day.
