OK 1st of all always remember HE has the rank not you...........[not being mean but some wives wear the rank harder than the one who earned it]
Your manner of dress should not be cut off hoochie jeans and a tube top lol really if he has chosen to make you HIS wife then am pretty sure you will not let him down.............
Just remember that you need to be careful of what you say and to whom, never tell some one anything that you do NOT mind being broadcast to everyone else, [they might not say a word OR they might tell everyone and the milkman]
There are a few books out there that give you hints as what is expected as an army wife, for instance it is often "expected" that you will serve on a few wives committees as well as attend the officer wives luncheons etc etc............
Wear smart but casual wear most of the time. Have a couple of nice, not tarty, cocktail dresses for evenings in the Officers' Mess. You might need a long evening dress, but a lot of wives I know, hire a dress for a special Ball or Dinner/Dance. Above all, wear what you feel is comfortable for you. Ask your husband to help choose a suitable outfit if it is a special occasion, because he will know how the other wives dress. I reckon most of the time you will be well set if you have a couple of nice skirts and a good pair or two of denim jeans a long with some nice tops. Be happy. It's a hard life along with a bit of glamour, and a great many heartaches along the way.

JUST BE U AND DON'T NECESSARILY FOLLOW EVERYONES LEAD IF UR DON'T LIKE IT THEN DON'T DO SHOW UR INDEPENDENCE U ARE A AMERICAN AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS AND BACK HIM IN OTHER WAYS UR CLOTHES IS NOT WHAT HE LOVES ITS U AND EXPRESS YOURSELF TO HIM BUT DON'T BE TO PUSHY CAUSE HE IS GONNA HAVE ENOUGH PROBLEMS AT WORK SO WORRY ABOUT UR HOME AND KEEPING IT A SAFE HAVEN FOR HIM WHEN HE NEEDS IT BE THERE WHO CARES HOW U DRESS ULL FIND THIS OUT
Whatever you want, you are not in the army He is.
But remember if you are around his troops or their families think about how you will be viewed by them because it can effect the unit.

By army wife do you mean a wife who is in the army or a wife of someone who is in the army? If you're like the wives of most military men, it won't matter what you wear because they're all fat cows. Also if he's a butter bar, nobody will care about him or how his wife looks anyway.
