What's the deal with Luke Walton?!

Question: What's the deal with Luke Walton?

I don't understand why this guy isn't in the rotation in LA. Well, I do understand. Matt Barnes is a better SF, and Lamar Odom is a better PF. But what I don't understand is why teams aren't trying to trade for him. He is one of only a small handful of guys who can play the "point-forward" position. Just like Lamar Odom, that instantly creates mismatches. He's a decent shooter, is a good locker room guy, gives 100% effort on both ends of the court.. It seems like he would play an important role on 20-25 teams in the league. So why is he stuck playing garbage minutes in LA? Do you think LA could trade him and get a valuable bench player in return?

I'm not a big fan of Luke Walton, but he is a decent player, just not good enough to play more than a couple minutes in a game. They have too many better options, like Odom and Matt Barnes. I think the Lakers need a better back-up center, I'm sure they could get a guy like Mozgov or something. I think that could happen. Maybe the Lakers could get a 2 player deal with Mozgov and Felton for Walton and Brown or something along those lines. How much would that help them? It would help their size and give them a good PG for a future, but I'm way ahead of myself, let's wait till the off season to even start thinking about it.

My team has Jeff Green, which effectively eliminates the want for Luke Walton.
