If you oppose gay marriage for religious reasons, are you also against atheists !

I think the reason why most people find "gay marriage" odd is that it's a pretty new phenomenon. Once it's been established and half a century has passed, people will see it as normal.After all has been said and done, the purpose of marriage is for two lovers to be with each other, not to have kids. If the purpose was to have kids, marriage between couples who can't have kids or don't want to have kids should be annulled.

Marriage is an institution created by God, a covenant between husband (man) and wife (woman).

There is no other derivation that God considers marriage. Not man with man, not woman with woman, not man with child, not man with beast. These things are abomination as defined by God.

There really is no such thing as homosexual marriage since God does not acknowledge the abomination of the practicing of homosexuality.

In the end, the perfect and holy standard of God is by which all shall be judged. Not by what man says is right.

What does being a gay and being an Atheist have is common? Are you saying all atheist are gay?
Homosexual is called an abomination. An atheist is just someone not yet willing to accept God.
Marriage was made for man by God. To be a male and female. If you really were a Christian you would know this.

Nobody is forcing them to marry anyone they don't want to marry. Why should they get to say that 2 women can't marry because they have some belief?

I did not get married in a church or have a religious ceremony of any kind. And yet I am classified as "married". IF I can get "married" so can gays. Otherwise we need to re-classify all of us who do not have any sort of religious ceremony when we "marry".

Or aside from atheists, how about Hindus, Muslims, Jews, and the millions of other non-Christians in the US who are married? I guess the Christians who think that only Christians get to obtain marriage licenses, have never met any of these other people.

Britney Speirs marriage is more insulting to the sanctity of marriage than gay marriage, no reason it shouldn't be legalized. Happening in the UK they are pushing for it to be legal in church, we already have gay marriage

Those are the people who would be screaming if any other religious group tried to pass religious laws that would exclude them of certain rights. It's ridiculous how hypocritical they are on this point.

A straight man is more likely to not like gay men, whereas a woman is not offended when approached by another female, they take it as a compliment, and move on if their straight but they always think about it lol. The religions are all male dominated, the prophets are all male, Jesus is male, God is male , so that is where the problem comes in, not that God does not approve, but the men speaking for God didn't approve, these days if anyone speaks for God they are crazy, but we still look to dead crazy people that spoke for God to lay down the rules, when we know in our hearts they are nonsense. If females wrote the holy book, gay people would have respect. because the book is Holy, we think we have to listen to it, instead of our own knowing...its about time we stopped giving our power away to dead abrahamic ancestors. As little as we understand God, and continue to make a mockery of God using words in a holy book, atheists are closer to understanding God and life than religious people. Because God is the life, not some big daddy in the sky. lol just my thoughts, of someone very let down in the ways of the world, it is time to give up the idea of one Savior to do it all, and start doing some things that work ourselves, and get rid of exclusiveness in religions, or get rid of the religions themselves, they are organizations that want to perpetuate, but if they accomplished their goal, there would be no need for them, so they don't have much of a track record.
