How can I change my internal clock? I need sleep!!!?!

Question:

How can I change my internal clock? I need sleep!!!?

I have been waking up between 2:45-3:00am every morning for a month. It then takes me an hour to go back to sleep. Sometimes I never get back to sleep fully (REM sleep). Does anyone have a suggestion, besides sleeping pills, to change my internal clock so that I don't wake up in the middle of the night.

Answers:

actually sleeping pills is the best remedy... take them 7 hours before your wake up time .... do this only for about 4 or 5 days and then onwards you'll naturally sleep all your way until morning.
You could also do something that would relax your body and mind.....
-take a shower(cold or hot, whichever soothes u better)
-drink a glass or warm milk(with cocoa if u like)
-listen to soft and slow instrumental music
-pour cool water over your feet(just above the ankles.) -i personally do this, it really helps
-check for your sleeping positions, take extra pillows to keep you comfy, turn the air con to a temp that would let you snug in comfortably into your comforter and sleep like a baby
-read a book(it must contain info that keeps your mind cool and relaxes you) and then fall asleep reading it.
well, i do hope some of this helps you.....

Sleep well......
Cheers!!!
