its happend twice in the last 7 days
ie had a (like cramp) pain at the base of sternem
it happend once will i was sitting at my computer and once while i was running
any ideas??????

It's not a broken or fractured sternum as that would have you in constant pain anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months and could need surgury. You would know if you had a injury and you say this pain has only occurred twice in the last week. Therefore , barring any further details my hunch is you are experiencing gas pains. (From skipping meals)
