Do you think people judge overweight women?!

Question:

Do you think people judge overweight women?

I have heard a lot of people on TV say that they believe people treat them differently due to being overweight. I have to say I have rarely experienced that. I am a big girl, but I am usually met with kindness. I keep wondering if it makes a difference where you live. I live in Missouri....Please let me know your honest opinion based on your own experiences of being overweight, your own observations of people you know, or if you are one who feels they either judge or do not judge others based on weight. Also, for those of you who don't mind revealing where you are from, I am interested to see the differences there as well. Thank you.

Answers:

First, I am from California. Now I obviously can't speak for every one but I can offer my opinion. As with race, religion, sex, and weight, there are people who will always judge and treat someone different who is not the same as them or what the preseve as "right" or "the way it shoudl be", and there are people who see through the the outer shell and can treat someone as a person regardless of these area's (race, religion, etc.)

It is the way it is, and the way it will always be. Me personally, I see a person and treat them as they treat me. :-)
