How do you get rid of flem?
I've been having flem for 2 years and I could never seem to cough it out...
I really want to get rid of it 'cuz I'm constantly singing for my class, and it's embarrassing when they're waiting for me to clear my voice. So I need all the help I can get, thanks~

Mucinex. I know, sounds stupid but it helps, and the sell extended release tabs now too. Also if you sing avoid antihistamines as taking them frequently can actually kill off your cilia (tiny hair-like fingers that move mucus) and make congestion and flem worse. Don't eat or drink dairy products before singing because these coat the throat, and stay hydrated by drinking water with a few drops of lemon juice in it during practice, the citric acid will slow the production of flem.
