A Few Tonsil Questions?!?
Firstly - Did having your tonsils out hurt?
How long did it take for you to recover?
Why did you have them taken out?
What age where they removed?
Just a bit curious as mine have been causing me a bit of bother lately, might have to have them out. Thanks any useful info would be great!!

I was nine years old when I had mine taken out.
I had tonsilitis what felt like all the time. Always poorly, had to have a double dose of anti-biotics, or whatever. Breath was always bad too because of it!
Felt groggy and sore after the op. Vomited a couple of times, and there was a lot of blood which I'd swallowed during the op.
I didn't want to eat, and everyone got a bit concerned for a while.
It was no massive deal I suppose. The body soon heals, and it's much better than being ill all the time.
