I was moved by your question. It's a tough situation. Does your Grandmother have a caretaker. Maybe that person can give you ideas. I've gone through this with family and friends. My Father especially. His mental health is declining . He's 82 yrs old. The greatest Dad a man could have. He's always been my friend even when I was a teen decades ago. If you can believe that.. LOL
My first and foremost thought is to give comfort. Comfort whenever you can. Give love. I don't think anything can replace hugs and kisses. Give your time for this. As much time as you possibly can. That will be a great gift. To have her final years feeling your love and attention can't be replaced by any material gift.
I'm very impressed that you would take the time to ask such a wonderful thoughtful question. When I was only in my late 30's my Dad was there for me when I had very bad medical problems that were life threatening. Only to be resolved by organ transplantation. He was quite old but was there for me. Now he is old and sometimes confused . I will always be there for him... And you will be too for her..
