If you were crossing a desert without water and were offered a beer should you drink it?
If alcohol dehydrates should you drink a beer in that situation? Does the water contained rehydrate you or would it make you more dehydrated?
Answers:
if it's the only thing to possibly drink, then I'd boil off the alcohol and drink what remains, aside from that small amounts over an extended period would be my plan as it would not dehydrate as fast as the volume taken in.
