Question for people who work in Drug Testing Labs....?

I work for a public utitlity. They are going to a random testing policy in the next month or two. I have found out that the type of test they are using is searching for 5 things, and will give a result within 10 minutes.
This is where my question comes into play... I have been wanting to try a couple diffrent herbs to help me relax at night due to some anxiaty issues I have. Wild Lettuce, and Wild Deaga(not sure of the correct spelling) are some of the ones that I have found that are said to give a relaxing sensation when smoked, or blended with a tea. These things are completly legal to buy and have, but I am unsure if something like this could effect a drug test. I don't want to lose my job over some wild lettuce, and I don't want to ask my employer their stance on this issue.

Most likely herbal remedies will not show up on a drug test. A standard 5 panel drug screen will test for Amphetamines (including Methamphetamine), Cocaine, Marijuana, Opiates and Alcohol. Also, when you sumbit your sample, you may want to request that a GC/MS test be run. This will ensure that your result does not come back as a false positive. And for extra security, just have the collector note what herbal remedies you are taking on the Chain of Custody.
