If you are having something filled at Walgreens and they don't have it in stock, are they able to send it over to another local walgreens so you can pick it up there..or do u have to wait for them to get it in stock at that particular one?

They can call other stores to see if they have it. Walgreens uses a universal system, so you can get your prescriptions filled at any Walgreens (not just the same one all the time).
So, yes. You should be able to get your prescription filled at another Walgreens.
