Jaw pain+Gauged ears=ok?

I just gauged my ears to a 6 like 3 days ago. An last night I slept at my friends house, this morning I woke up an the back of my jaw (where your neck an jaw conncet) hurts. It only hurts on my right side but the left side is normal.

I am wondering if its the stress I might have put on my new gauged ear (because I slept on my right side all night) or is it an infection that has spread to my neck or something...

It dont hurt bad only when I put abit of pressure on it. I have been keeping my gauge's/ears clean an been soaking them in sea salt water since yesterday (because I bearly found out u can heal them that way to) an I take out my gauges for 5 mins to help take off stress from my lobes.

I also use Vitanim E oil on the gauge's when I put it in an on my ears to. I also tie up my hair. I have been taking good care of my ear's an I just dont want it to be an infection.

Most likely not related. It may be a swollen lymph node, but only a doctor could tell if it is from your ear or from something completely different. It sounds like you're taking good care of your piercings. Touch your lobes as infrequently as possible, to slow the spread of germs, and always wash your hands before touching them.
If your earlobes are hot, bright red, swollen, or very painful, you should remove the gauges and see a doctor.
