Is this ok?!

Question:

Is this ok?

im taking keflex (antibiotic) for a jaw infection and ive been on it for about 6 days or so. the antibiotics have caused a yeast infection which has kept me up all night. it is about 5:40 right now and i am supposed to be at work at 9. i know i need to get a monistat to take care of the infection and i will do that today, but do you think this is an ok reason to call in sick to work? i would be extremely tired and my crotch would be causing me hell all day if i went in. the problem is that i have already called in sick once and went home early once in the last 3 weeks for the jaw infection.
should i call in sick?

Answers:

YES, definitely call in sick. You're not feeling good, that's what "Sick Days" are for. Besides the exhaustion, you know how the monistat is..meaning leaks, you'll be running to the bathroom all day. Also the stress alone is not going to make you any better, right? Trust me, I am an employer. and when one of my employees call in sick I always take into consideration that I rather they stay home a few days until they are better than come in and get sicker and stay home 5 days. (if it's contagious, the same applies, but that's a different story). Anyway, stay home, take care of yourself, if some symptoms don't start to go away within 3 hours please go to a doctor. Please take it easy!
