my boyfriend and i did salvia a couple of months ago and i had a really awful experience from it. i thought i was dying. peter. (my boyfriend) didnt have a bad experience and neither did his friends. how do i get a good experience from it

Set is mindset, how you are feeling when you experience the drug, what you expect the experience to be like, etc.
Setting is the physical and emotional space that your are in. For example, a friend's living room vs. a highway underpass.
Dosage is pretty obvious, how much and how fast.
All these things can affect the end result. The same person can take the same drug on two different occasions and have very different results.
