Question:

I have failed to qualify for gastric banding. I have been offered the balloon. What do you think?

My BMI is 29 and I am therefore technically overweight, but not technically obese.


Answers:

My opinion is diet and exercise. Surgery is such and extreme measure when many other options work without invasive procedures. I am speaking from experience I lost over 100 lbs through hard work and diet. It can be done, but you have to really put your whole self into it.
