Why do I get hiccups every morning when I wake up?!

Question:

Why do I get hiccups every morning when I wake up?

Every morning when I wake up, I get hiccups for about 5-10 minutes. This started a few months ago. I'm not doing anything differently, I get out of bed at a normal pace, I don't change temperatures...

Does anyone have any idea as to why this happens to me every morning?

Answers:

Well the cause of hiccups is the diaphram going in to spasm.

that said. The nerve that controls the diaphram comes from about mid spine, aka Thorastic spine. If you've fallen hit your back on something or even just twisted wrong you could have caused that nerve to be pinched between the vertabrea.

Which intern would cause a miss firing of brain to part functioning.

Suggestion. See a chiropractor see if maybe they can addjust your spine to release the nerve to help that from happening.
