Is it true drinking water prior to blood work being drawn helps the flow, and ho!

Question:

Is it true drinking water prior to blood work being drawn helps the flow, and how much should be consumed?

Answers:

Being properly hydrated makes the veins easier to find. When a person is dehydrated, one of the first things that happens is that their veins shrink. Don't down a bunch the morning of the test, as it takes time for the body to absorb it. Just make sure you drink the night before and maybe a glass or so in the morning.
