What is on this thing on the bottom of my foot?!

Question:

What is on this thing on the bottom of my foot?

On April 21 I was moving, so I was walking outside barefoot all day moving boxes and stuff. Soon after, I noticed this thing on the bottom of my foot that I thought was a splinter and would go away. But here it is on July 11 and it looks exactly the same. It's a hard bump about the width of a dime with a little opening in the middle. The whole bump is kind of light brown and the opening is darker. It sometimes hurts when I walk on it. What is it?

Answers:

ABOUT THE SIZE OF A DIME?! No, you can't use Dr. Scholls freeze away, because it won't cover the whole wart and it just gets infected again if you do. This will need some nitrogen. Go see a doctor. You gave it waaaaaaaay too much time to grow.

But what it is-- you have a wart. a Plantar wart, and what got the opening is probably where you got something stuck in there.

You can also get these kinds of warts surgically removed, but I would try something else first.
