Zoloft question?!

Zoloft question?

Ever since i started 5 months ago all i do is eat. ive gained about 10 pounds already and that depresses me so its basically pointless to take an antidepresent thats side effects are depressing me. right?

Anyone else find that zoloft made them eat more?

Before i wasnt eating enough from depression. No appitite but now its out of control. Im not emotionally eationg. Im just eating because im happy? But its nit a real happy. Its a fake happy. if that makes sence. But now im not happy because im gaining weight. My docotr now perscribed me adderal. Because maybe i was depressed because i had so much aneity from having to sit still.

You poor thing. I had the same thing happen to me last year. I got really depressed so my physician put me on Zoloft. In six months I gained 35 pounds. I went back and they immediately took me off of it. I was put on Prozac. I had to work out and eat right for 5 months to get back to my starting weight. Please hun, don't let this get out of hand. GO back to the doctors and explain to him/her what is going on. They should def. put you on something else. Also, a side effect of Prozac is a appetite reducer. So that is a plus! Good luck!
