They were vaccinated when we got them and were due for re-vaccination in January. Will book a visit to the vets ASAP.

Yes, they do. Something as small as a mosquito getting into your house can cause them to get heartworms and be extremely expensive to treat. Also, most cities require you to have your pets get a rabies vaccine. If they are inside cats, they probably don't need a Feline Leukemia vaccine, because they contract that disease from being exposed to other cats. You can also skip the bortadello (sorry, if the spelling is not quite right), because that is primarily for pets who are boarded. They should be vaccinated annually though and take heartworm/flea preventative every month. It costs much less to vaccinate them than it does to treat them if they contract something because they weren't protected.
