I get a headache chewing gum. Why?!

Question:

I get a headache chewing gum. Why?

Answers:

Chewing gum uses the facial muscles either side of the jaw, and like any muscle that is overexercised, it will become tense and sore, resulting in what you percieve as a headache.
But if there is a clicking sound as you chew, it might be a misalignment of the jaw, and may warrant further investigation.
Either way, chew gum less often and see if that improves the matter.
