Why is my 15 month old daughters butthole bleeding?
My 15 month old daughetrs butthole is bleeding. What can be causing this? I do everything just fine. My doctor told me to put baby powder on it. What is it and what should I do?

It could be a little anal fissure from a dry, hard stool. Is the blood bright red or dark? If bright red, it is from some bleeding at the opening and not internal bleeding. Can you see any tearing? Does she complain of pain. Is it possible that someone is sexually abusing her? Did she push something into her own anus? Did the doctor examine her or just answer your inquiry over the phone? I'd have her examined. It could be nothing or something significant.
