I just applied for a new job and they want a drug test...???

Okay, so I just applied for a new job. As usual they want a drug test.....so I gave a urine specimen.

Then I remembered that the night before, my mom had given me a vicodin for back pain, i've been having. It helped a little and allowed me to sleep okay.

I've never really taken Vicodin before.........But I was wondering....How long will it show up in my system??? I only took One about 9pm on Monday and tested today, Tuesday at 12 noon.

Will it come out positive ????

You might get lucky and pass the test, but some of the drug may still be in your system. The half-life of hydrocodone (vicodin) is 3.8 hours, so depending on the sensitivity of the drug test, you just may be in the clear.
