Please help me. My feet look dead?

Honestly. My feet look purpl/blue, like corpse feet.
This happens to me fairly often, usually when I am sitting down. They go back to a normal colour when I get up and walk.
I smoke and I drink, but seriously, so do MANY people I know, and they don't have this problem.
Oh, and my feet are also ICE cold. And i'm not exaggerating, it's like they're -5degrees.
I feel like such a freak

Oh, and i'm 21.

It's not Raynauds syndrome. I've checked that out and I certainly never get this prob with my fingers, only my feet. .

Could be a variety of different things ranging from serious to life-threatening... Simplest explanation is that you are cutting off circulation to the area while sitting for periods of time, especially if you are sitting in a position where your knees are flexed beyond 90 degrees... kinda like bending the hose in half to slow the flow of water... Could be symptoms of PVD (Peripheral Vascular Disease) which is a narrowing of the blood vessels that carry blood to and from the extremities. Probably not the case in your situation since you are so young, but not to be ruled out either due to the smoking. The dangerous part of that situation is that if your legs are not getting good blood flow for an extended period of time, you could develop blood clots that will travel throughout your body and potentially cause serious complications. Best advice is to see a doctor for these symptoms and discuss options for treatment.
