I have had a lump in my armpit for almost 3 years now, and have been to two doct!

I have had a lump in my armpit for almost 3 years now, and have been to two doctors...what's up?

I first noticed the lump back in October of 2005, and it was about the size of a grape.

I had it checked out by a doctor in February of 2006, and she told me it was probably the result of shaving. I was then told to apply a hot wash cloth to it every day/night, so I did. My doctor said that it should either heal on its own or should form a boil like head that could be drained, but neither happened.

So I finally saw another doctor in November of 2006, and was told basically nothing, because she couldn't really feel a lump.

It hurts a heck of a lot sometimes, and itches like crazy other days, and I can only clearly feel it when I kind of pinch or pull it "out" of my armpit area, and it has grown/spread to be about the size of an enlarged grape or cherry. I do have another appointment on 7/16, so I'll see what the doc says then.

I have also recently switched to a deodorant without aluminum, and have read up on lumps on the internet.

Any help/suggestions out there?

My co worker had that happen to him it was a sisst he had to have it drained they stabbed a large neddle into it and sucked all the crap out of it he said it was the most painfull thing he has ever had done.
