Can you reuse water bottles(6 gal jugs)?
i use 6 gal jugs from poland springs, are they safe to use again and again? i have a 6 mo. old and the suggestion of using bleach worries me!!! any suggestions???? nana

There is a saying:"better safe than sorry."
It's just not a good idea all around to reuse a plastic water bottle for a variety of reasons...absolutely not using bleach on plastic to disinfect it! There is an article on plastic water bottles an their original use (not the refill) informing that (the bottle and its contents) should be discarded if left in a hot place (car) as the chemical changes that take place can be dangerous to your health. There has been a link found to CANCER and plastics...and you won't see this effect immediately...it will be years down the road.
