Answers:
If you have an ear infection, you need to go to the doctor and get an antibiotic. Don't mess around with an ear infection--the infection can move to the brain and kill you. Antibiotics are the only medications that will work.
You can eat anything--I don't understand why you asked that question. If your ear is hurting really badly, and it hurts to chew, eat soft foods.
You can help the pain by using heat--lie on a warm compress or heating pad, infected ear down so it can drain. Until the infection is cleared up, the pain is not going to go away. Take tylenol and/or ibuprofen as directed. If the infection is that bad, the doctor may give you something stronger, like a narcotic pain medicine.
