Should I be concerned about the maggots growing inside an abscess on the inside of my left inner thigh?

An aide comes by 2 times a day to empty my bedpan and urinal and to fix me a meal but she is not a nurse. It has been this way for 2 weeks and is getting purple and blue coloring. It does not hurt too much.
