If I live in British Columbia, Canada, and have no extra health insurance, what !

Question:

If I live in British Columbia, Canada, and have no extra health insurance, what is covered by the province?

I have a health care card number, and i do have extra insurance, but I'm curious what would be covered by the bc gov't alone. Just drugs? Services too? what other services?

Answers:

Hi what you should do, is contact your Minister of Health & ask for a list of what is covered under the card.

Ontario though btw has a special program to help out ppl who couldn't otherwise afford extra health coverage called Trillium.

If you find yourself in that situation, you should ask if they have a similar idea. They will know about Trilium or rather it won't be hard for them to figure it out...

Regardless, while googling under BC Ministry of Health Coverage
