Tips/Techniques for staying Cool?!
Question:
Tips/Techniques for staying Cool?
I work on a mezzanine, for those of you who doesn't know what that is. It is the upstairs of a giant building we call a hangar where I work. It is close to 85 degrees and 80% humidity when I get there at 6:30 am, by noon it is borderline unbearable. I drink lots of water, I have fans everywhere, I where light cool cloths, I was hoping someone somewhere knew something I didn't. By the way there is no way we can get airconditioning the hangar is huge and the doors are opened and shut a lot. Any helps on this would be hugely appreciated, as I feel pretty sick at the end of most work days.
Answers:
You could try bringing several pre-frozen blue ice containers in an insulated bag to work.
Take out one at a time and wrap it in cloth (so it won't be too cold) and rig a string or strap to hold it in place under your clothes, or perhaps on a headband (if you don't mind appearing fashion impaired). I don't know where to tell you to put it, I never tried it.
