It sounds like this may not be your glands, but actually lumps which appear relating to your menstrual cycle. They do come and go, and can be alarmingly huge and painful. the pain does seem to hang around for longer. It is almost certainly nothing to worry about. However, whenever anything lumpy appears anywhere near your breask, you go straight to your doctor. Even as an emergency if you have to. Best to be safe. Good luck and God bless
