Lump in my Throat, Please Help!!!?

I have this lump feeling in my throat, like im about to cry. But nothings wrong, this has been going on for about maybe 3 weeks now, constantly through out the day. Is their anyway i can relieve this feeling. It makes me feel uncomfortable all the time and affects the way i act around people.
