Is waking up late during Summer such a bad thing?!

Is waking up late during Summer such a bad thing?

I'm 15 years old. Now that it's summer, I want to do one of the things I enjoy the most, which I can't normally do -- Wake up late. So most nights I'm going to bed at around 1:30 - 2:00, and waking up at around 10:30. My parents are making a big thing out of this, and I'm having to put up with them every morning. Is it unhealthy to go to bed later than normal, even if I still get enough hours a night?? Also, I'd like to say that I usually go to bed at around 11pm and wake up at 6:30 for school. This is only for the summer. :D

There is nothing wrong with it physically, but as you said parents usually have a problem with it. I don't understand why since you're getting the same amount of sleep. My mom did the same thing though, I would stay up till 3 and wake up at 11, me and my brothers. Now I go to bed at 1 and wake up at 9 so I still stay up kinda late and get 8 hours, and still be up at a decent hour.

So basically compromise is the only solution. Besides, when you wake up late the day goes by even faster.
