Do you have sleep problems?!


Question:

Do you have sleep problems?

Normally I go to sleep at 10:00pm and wake between 3am and 4am.

Thanks for the answers. I think it affects my quality of life, and is not good for the body long term. I'll ask my doctor.

I used to have horrible problems to fall asleep ... it would usually happen after I see sunrise ... and then I'd wake up no later than 10 .. and I'd function perfectly for a month or so, but then I'd get ill, and stay in bed for a couple of days, not getting proper sleep even then .. I hate insomnia ... things that go through my mind at late night (early morning) are only to be compared to horror films ... and then my boyfriend came to live with me, and he had a habit of going to bed early. he loves to sleep ... now, we go to bed round midnight, and get up at 7 or 8 ... and I never go back to sleep after he goes to work. I work at home, and I'm studying, and it's good to have someone to be there those first 30 min till i get fully awake (it's a looong process for me) ... so I have my sleeping routine ... it took a while to get used to it, about a couple of months, and I know I could easily slip back into sleepless nights if left alone, but I must say, it's so much nicer to have more daylight in my life, and not to have speeding mind that goes crazy at night ... and I used to go to bed with all the lights on, because I had a very irrational fear of dark ... I'd start to panic ... that's gone too .. I think it was fear of my own mind, and what it used to do in dark ...

anyway, to make my point .. try to make yourself go to bed a bit later ... and organise your time ... and jogging in the evening could help too ... if you go to bed exhausted, it's likely that you'll sleep more ...
