Headache after donating blood?!

Headache after donating blood?

I gave blood for the first time last wednesday, and ever since I've had a headche and and a stiff neck. I'm going to go to the doctor tomorrow, but what do you think is causing it?

but should i still have the headache 5 days later, it seems a little extreme to me.


Answers:

Muscle tension on your neck.
High blood pressure for the headache problem.
Both causes are from stress of donating blood. Call the place where you donated the blood OR your local Red Cross, and ask the Nurse there.
