HELP!!! HELP!!! I broke my thumbnail off last night by accident, its so short,?

there is only 1/4 a cm of nail left on the nail bed........It won't stopp trobbing and pulseing.....What should I do? Its stopped bleeeding and clotting after 5 min. of pressure.... the pain will not, already took pain reliever........HELP????

Six hours later its still trobbing and giving off shooting pains.....Has anyone else ever done this? Will the nail grow back normally?

Keep plenty of antibiotic ointment on it to prevent infection. I don't think there is a lot you can do for the pain except take pain relievers like Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen. You could try a lidocaine ountment to numb it.
If the pain is unbearable (I think it would be) you could call your doctor to get some prescriptions.
